Property & Conveyancing

Our property law services include conveyancing for purchases and sales, title transfers, and resolving property disputes.

Commercial Law

Our Commercial Law services includes business structuring advice and implementation; commercial agreement reviews and drafting (such as shareholder, employment, partnership, and client service agreements, and terms and conditions), business sales and purchases, dispute resolution, commercial leasing advice and lease preparation, liquor licensing and commercial operation permits (such as food registration permits).

Wills & Estate Planning

We can assist with all estate matters including the review of existing Wills, preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, preparation of applications to the Court for Probate or Letters of Administration, and administration of an estate.

The Team

Amanda Weir
Principal

With over 20 years commercial experience ranging from small business to corporate project management, Amanda has the knowledge and experience to assist you with business and personal legal matters.

Her personal experience ranges through commercial environments, from being a small business owner, to working in corporate project management for a multinational company. She understand the pitfalls and challenges of business on multiple levels and uses that knowledge and experience to solve her clients' legal problems with efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Her strength is working with clients to demystify legal issues and assisting them to make legal decisions which give them a robust business, well positioned to grow and serve them.

Emma Woodford
Senior Conveyancer

Emma has more than 15 years experience in the legal industry, with over 10 years practicing as a conveyancer.

She is well versed in residential sales and purchases, off-the-plan subdivisions, related party/spouse transfers, refinances and assisting generally with a broad range of property law transactions.

Emma is a PEXA certified member and can conduct property settlements across Victoria. She is also an Associate member of the Institute of Legal Executives (Victoria).

Emma is passionate about her work and her clients and will take care of your conveyancing needs with professionalism, honesty and diligence.


Bridget Collier
Paralegal

Bridget is currently completing her Honours studies at the University of Sydney. She has a passion for philosophy, literature, film, and advocating for the rights of our clients.
She provides support across all areas of our practice including conveyancing and commercial law. She supports the team to ensure that nothing slips through the cracks, and our clients are provided with seamless, up to date information, and that their matters and concerns are attended to with priority.

Elizabeth Weir
Practice Manager

Liz brings to Bayberry & Weir an extensive background in banking, finance, training and administration. All of which is vital in order for her to keep the practice running as she is responsible for financial administration, HR management, legal compliance, information technology, and general administration.

Plain and simple, she keeps us going!

Kate Tancredi
Lawyer

Kate was admitted to practice in 2014 and has spent her time since admission gaining experience in wills and estates, property law and commercial law. Since the birth of her daughters Kate has chosen to specialise in wills and estates, and has recently commenced her masters in this field.

Kate brings compassion and warmth to an emotional area of law and strives to make the estate planning and administration process as simple as possible for her clients.

When Kate isn’t working, she likes to spend her time assisting on local environmental initiatives or out enjoying nature with her family and two dogs.
